Governor Matt Bevin Proclaims Kentucky Week for the Animals Celebration April 21-29, 2018!
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - April 19, 2018 - PRLog -- Animal World USA is pleased to announce the 10th Annual Kentucky Week for the Animals celebration will kick off Saturday, April 21st and go through Sunday, April 29, 2018. The week will bring underscore community spirit as people come together on behalf of the animals in the beautiful Bluegrass state that has given us a love and appreciation of horses unlike any other state in our great union.
This extraordinary week will feature awesome animal-themed events at Kentucky libraries, Earth Day events across the state, pet first aid classes, ways to volunteer to help animals, scores of awesome multiple pet adoption events, feedings for the farm animals, festivals and pet first aid awareness, Paint Your Pet fundraiser for the Pitties, ways to help the feral cats, Audubon Birding Festival, Owl Weekend, free and low cost spay/neuter opportunities, veggie events, activities to help the felines, 5Ks, Unleash Your Inner Hero dinner and auction, dog training classes, New Vocations Open House, BBQ for the equines, unique ways to help the retired racehorses, youth activities, pet food banks, free and/or low cost vaccinations, a salute to the working K-9's, the military and much more!
